Christians don't hate gays. Since there is no degree of sin, short of sacrificing your children, and ALL have sinned, no, we Christians are no better. However, there is the saying, "Love the sinner, hate the sin".

On the other hand, gays probably have a pretty good idea about what the Bible says about homosexuality, so they displace their anger over that to hapless Christians. Gays also don't want to be 'preached' to about their chosen way of life, because you know, it's all about them. What THEY want. In my opinion, most gays are the epitome of selfishness. When Jesus said 'Take up your cross and follow me', that 'cross' is all of the sinful behavior we partake in everyday. Gays don't want to give up their sinful behavior, and will lash out at anyone telling them to.

So no, we don't hate gays, but I bet most, myself included, would wish they would stop trying to get others to ENDORSE their lifestyle. That goes for Christians too, because Jesus never told his disciples to bludgeon people over the head with God's Word.
