This was most likely an explosion caused by NATURALLY OCCURING H2S gas.
The fact that its a Pig farm is even more evidence that it was H2S.
In Oil and Gas the natural extracting of oil/shale/gas from the earth will also extract H2S gas.
It's where ever decaying Organic Mass is present.
This stuff is SUPER deadly! Its heavier then air too so it will flow and settle.

Pig Farms are very dangerous for children. Every year theres at least one incident where a child or children fall over the fence railing when watching/hand feeding the pigs. This happens as the Pig would generally rush over to the people, the kids, expecting to be fed, and their hooves disturb the mud and sloop and releases H2S gas from the mud, it WILL be there, the gas if in a dense enough of a concentration will be disturbed and will rise up, the kids are right below and take a wiff, out the go and fall in.
