this protest is not only about a green-park ! But it's a protest against government, against Recep Tayyip, against violence acts towards to people of Turkey ! It is enough already, he has done so many things we hate ! He totally fucked up the country.He thinks he is the owner ! We're so done with this shit ! This protest is a showoff against AKP and Recep Tayyip.

The ban on alcohol after 10 pm would hit the tourism industry pretty hard.

I don't think Erdogan understands that Atatürk wanted Turkey to be a secular country...

I can understand that the people of Turkey are tired of Erdogan and want to replace him.

Though if they replace him with fundamentalist Muslims a la Egypt it will not make things any better.

Hey guys have you ever seen photogaphs from egypt from the 60's and 70's? They're quite shocking. All women looked like their european counterparts, no burqas, no hijabs... its all changed now of course, egypt is a totalitarian islamic hellhole. I think the same may happen in turkey

There is no way We'll replace Recep Tayyip with someone islamaniac ! In fact I'm also a muslim but the way Recep and his government dictate the religion is not my way..You see the government is quite aware of the majority of population in Turkey is not well educated and They're just a bunch of idiots that are afraid of standing against anything. More, it is easy to direct these people with religion. However the rest is really tired of Turkey's current situation. We're still not sure why we are in war against Syria. The belief is that if the rest that hates Recep Tayyip somehow manages to stand up, it will be easy to affect the others...

Is it me or both the Police and the Army are slowly turning against Erdogan?
