Post any UFO sightings you have had

I've seen a few odd points of light in the sky before, but nothing that couldn't be explained conventionally. Except for one time I saw a UFO. No. It wasn't a UFO because I knew what it was. It was a flying saucer.

It was a Summer night in 1988 or 1989 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. It was just after dark and a thunderstorm was blowing in. It was one of those storms where half the sky shown stars and the other half was black with heavy clouds. There was some lightning.

I saw it almost as soon as it came into view above the treetops off in the distance. It was coming from the direction of the storm and heading South. It was beneath the clouds. I'm pretty confident that it was at an altitude of about 1500 feet. I've flown a bit and I see low flying C130s every single day. This thing was at about 1500 feet.

It flew quite slowly and made no noise. It flew slow enough that I had time to run into the house to get my mom. She came out and we both watched it.

It had 12 to 16 white lights arranged in a saucer shape. They did not blink or rotate. At one point while it was still backdropped by the clouds lightning struck and a black circular silhouette was easy to see.

It never made any noise and did not change course. If my altitude estimate is right then it was roughly the size of a C130 from wing tip to wingtip, but I'm thinking just a bit smaller.
