The Law (Old Testament)is hard and that's why we could not keep it but Jesus could. The Law has not passed away. We are still condemned by the Law. The only way out is to accept the salvation of grace that Jesus offers freely.

As Jesus said "Do not think that I came to replace the Law, but to fulfill it."

Paul has said no thing that contradicts the four gospels you follow. If he has added things that you don't like that's another matter. He claims they come from God and the book of Acts records that the other apostles believed that Paul was working as Christs messenger. Luke wrote the book of Acts. He followed Jesus as a disciple from the beginning and he attests to the fact the Paul was of God.

Paul was the first judeochristian, and most of his efforts were to reinstate old testament imperatives and ritualizations in some way.

You don't get it. The Law is full of criminality; what god worthy of worship would condemn you for not trying to establish a J3w World Order via usury (Deut 15:6), not mutilating your sons via circumcision, not raping and murdering enemy tribes (Numbers 31 for just one example), etc? Matthew, Mark, Luke and John chronicles even the apostles non-comprehension and non understanding of The Lord Our Righteousness. See, Jesus Christ came and fulfilled the law in full faithfulness. As such, it is no longer man earning his righteousness through obedience to the law, but rather, through belief in Jesus Christ and thus being given His Righteousness. From that, we are to grow in faith in a daily walk with out teacher who leads His faithful into obedience and into pleasing God in our works that He has for us to do. This world is full of religions and secular beliefs which state that if I just do this or that, God will owe me salvation. Whether that be doing the sacraments of the catholic church, or carving tattoos in one's body, or even an atheist in the back of his mind thinking that God may judge on a curve....at the heart of them all is the belief that I got to do something. As it was He that locked the world up in sin, it is only by Him that graciously bestows the righteousness of His Only begotten Son. The law is spiritual but carnal minds reduce it to don't eat pig, don't touch that, do this, do that....in other words, carnal minds produce carnal religions. The old testament chronicles the devastations of sin and wickedness, and anyone today looking around can easily see how our nations are decending into absolute abominations...and loving it so. There can be no peace without being in Christ. Even the Old Testament shows that without faith and belief and trust in Our Creator, in whom there is no darkness, that this world of men can never produce peace.

The world thinks that laws can solve our problems. As such, this world is passing so many laws to regulate everything. The Old Trstament PROVED that even the most holiest of laws could not change the populace - the only thing that could was complete faith in the God of Heaven and Earth and His righteousness. As such, the rising laws in our lands directly correlate to the rising anti-Apostle Paul crowd. Frankly, no different than the Jews in the first century. In laws, people think there is peace and safety. God will prove to all that those can only be found in Him, in His new creation...in Christ.

The old testament are God's Word Jesus came to forfull the Word not to take a word away not a comma, remember the 10 commands are still relevant. Mercy with Jesus Blood must not be taken lightly because it came with a heavy price that Jesus paid for. Ones converted to Christian you must be serious with your dissision. Hebr 6 : 6 serious scripture. That is why Jesus shows that many Christians are on the broad way and only a few on the small way.

The trick here is that you can release the Hell and not believe all the details that they harp on and still embrace the essence of it.

It is a self-less love and striving for giving birth to the divine within.

That is a more noble goal than divide and conquer.

I've often wondered why the Old and New Testament was combined but then again many people have written about the original authors and it makes sense.
