For me it´s like this..
I´m a very empathic person and it´s often, that I have to figure things out by silent communication.
Well, in fact there is always this kind of communication between people, but for me it´s meant to be this way on a deeper level.

Being silent, trusting in... well it´s ups and downs all the way. It´s really not that easy to make make a relationship working, or to get there at first. We´re more often in our own ways, than we think.

But like you said, there is always free will, which means, you have the freedom to say at any point in time: "No, this is not how it´s goind to end."

I know because I used to be the same way. And would - without realizing it - pick assholes who would thrive on my drama. Which worked out for me because then when we both messed it up, I could blame them for being the asshole.

Well i cant speak for her but im sure she tried her best too. Yes, ultimately both our best efforts did not manage to create a loving and harmonious enough bond between us. What answers are you implying? And i most definitley dont see them as 7 years gone, but 7 wonderful years in which 2 souls learnt and grew together, and ultimately parted ways.
