Yes. If the game was rigged that Miami would have won comfortably to setup a highly rated game 7 on Thursday.

It wouldn't have taken a miracle 3 with 5 seconds left in order to send it to OT.

Calling that finish "rigged" is retarded.

Re: If the NBA just admitted that... . .
I don't think the actual games in the NBA are quite as rigged as they used to be.

The Donoghy situation really straightened some people the fuck up. The phantom fouls aren't quite as obvious as they were back in that Lakers-Kings series in the early 2000s. Most of that now goes on in less important situations, to kind of nudge along certain results the league would like to see happen.

I believe in areas such as the draft lottery, however, there is still just as much corruption and rigging as there was in the frozen envelope ordeal in the Ewing draft.

Sorry. I didn't know you were one of the game riggers from vegas. Ill look for your signature cues for when you rig the next game. I just hope the refs cooperate better than this trainwreck display tonight

It's not rigged for the most part, but certain refs are called upon to keep the games close. Take the start of the 3rd for instance. Spurs could have blew it open, but were unable to. Why? The refs called chippy little fouls left and right in favor of the Heat. Heat were in the bonus with almost 9 mins left in the 3rd. Give the Heat credit though. Allen knocked down a difficult 3. Spurs choked. End of story.

Suspicions are spreading aren't they? I was the poster in the big thread who told you guys the Heat would win because "David Stern said so." Certain "pre-determined outcomes" are why I've never gotten worked up about a sports game since I was 8.

True. "Rigged at key moments" is the key. Each play is not scripted because that would be too obvious. It's certain key plays with the refs and possibly some of the coaches in on it.

Alot of Americans put a whole lot into living successful free lives while we know that the government is out to screw us and that government and politics is rigged and we put up with it

So do I think some athletes making millions upon millions of dollars a year would put up with it in a "game".....yes

Players are the LEAST in on it...although certain stars may be at times. Its primarily the refs, followed by the head coaches. Key people, but few in number.

You are really paranoid dude lmao...

Ray Allen is a BOSS at making 3s..

If youve ever even attempted a shot from 28ft away then you know it couldnt have possibly been scripted since its less than 50% that Ray would hit the shot.

as far as conspiracy theories go, this one is a potrait of idiacy. It would require the nba to shell out more cash to keep people quiet than they could ever hope to earn off of a game seven. simple economics. anyone who watched the end of the game tonight, and uses it as proof of anything being rigged is either in complete denial, or a fucking idiot, and actually probably both.

No but he does make a point in regards to the ref calls.
Ginobili's drive was a clear foul and they didn't call it; if the heat was behind and the same play on lebron they would have definitely called it.
During the playoffs the refs always give fouls to teams that are down in crucial moments that can give an extra game in a series; that's just protocol.
Do you have any idea how much money game 7 of the final is going to bring to the league? It's simply going to be the most watched game of the season...

Oh and if you think people and especially refs cannot be bought in high level pro sports then you obviously haven't been paying attention to all the scandals that have been revealed in the recent years that involved the $400 billions per year sports betting industry....

I do think there is corruption in sports. There's a former NBA ref sitting in jail because he had mob connections so I'm not denying that but you're not making any sense in calling this game rigged.

The Heat needed a miracle finish just to get to OT. 2 possessions where they made 3's after an offensive rebound and Ray Allen's incredibly difficult 3 JUST TO GET TO OT. You're saying that the NBA waited until 2 seconds left in OT to rig the game? That doesn't make any sense.

The NBA wants a game 7. Every sport wants their finals to go to a game 7. But if the game was rigged than the Heat would have pulled away in the 4th and won comfortably. There wouldn't have been a miracle finish. You can't script that Ray Allen shot.

Popovich benched his 2 star players on a crucial minutes and didnt call Time Out on the last 20 seconds they have possession of the ball. Manu Ginobili had so much travelling in the last minutes and he is still handling the ball while Parker , the main man got benched.

Sure you think , Miami is buying this game 6 but the question is on Popovich and Manu Ginobili. Parker wanted to win, Duncan wanted to win , their game is classic and epic but their coach is either damn stupid or getting paid to act stupid
