No they're not. How can they be the 144,000? There are only two of them.

Read the link article and I pray it is a blessing to you. Yes but the two witnesses have completely different roles than the 144,000 and should not be compared to each other. The 144,000 are completely distinct from the two witnesses who will have the power over rain, over plagues and will be able to call fire down from heaven to kill those who try and get in their way. Fixed.
