Women should be submissive to Men

Women have been trying oh so hard to make this World equal for man and women but it will never happen because we are not equal.

"For a man is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man." 1 Corinthians 11:7

What is so arrogant about submitting to my husband? There is nothing arrogant or wrong about always being right because that is what my husband wants.

God made Eve as a helper for Adam.

And at least on this he is utterly wrong. Because only God is always right.

What is my husband wrong about? Me wanting to submit to him? How does that make him wrong when it makes me right and he and I are 1 flesh? That is my choice to submit to him so he has no choice in being right or wrong in the matter. Why are you judging my husband?

I agree. It is my role to provide pleasure and comfort to men. And I happily full fill that role.

Adams curse was to work the entire day and in exhaustion eat unfullfilling food. You guys sure have a lot of free time. Looks like you've chosen to not work very hard and allieviate your curse.

But women should be good to their husbands and listen to them. That doesn't mean they can't stand up for themselves or whats right or that they have to listen to and be passive to every man on the street. Listening to your husband promotes household unity. And the man who doesn't regard his wifes needs or wants is being ungodly too.

There was a woman who betrayed her evil husband for what was good. And they dedicated a book to her in the bible.

I think the problem comes when women try to submit to more than just 1 man. I will never take advice from a man outside of my home, that will create resistance inside our home, especially if I listen to that man instead of my husband. I do listen to women though, but only when it comes to family matters and raising children. But if they ever disrespect my husbands authority, I cut them off and don't listen to them anymore. I think it's horrible when women try to meddle between a husband and wife.

Good point about the double standard: if all women have to have pain in childbirth, then all men have to work the soil. In Christ, where there is "no male and female" (Gal. 3:28) somehow they think this means only Adam's curse was lifted.

But husbands must also be good to their wives; submission in Christianity is to be mutual. Partnership, rather than boss/employee, is what prmotes household unity.




I said the same thing about the OP's hypocrisy in being against control but then saying men should control women. But as a certified "Bible thumper" I can assure you that those who teach male supremacy are twisting it.

There is SO much misogyny here, everywhere. The world is run by men but women always get the blame, and men scream like toddlers if their privileges are threatened. But most sickening of all is the women who love being kept as children or slaves for life, to get out of responsibility as free adults.

Its not just sexually.
Stepping aside for a man to pass by, or get in front of you in line are non-sexual acts of submission.

Sexually is just easier, since physically a woman is meant to be submissive to a man.
