Area51 Public Relations Guy User ID: 37945319 United States 07/01/2013 09:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The mean water weight of the burgers was about 50%. Now for the strange part, actual meat content in the burgers ranged from 2.1% to 14.8 percent. That’s right, the product that you are expecting to get is only 2-14% of what you really think it is! Quoting: told ya What made up the rest of the burger you ask? Well a variety of fun and interesting tissue types were found. The tissues found other than skeletal muscle tissue aka meat, were connective tissue, blood vessels, peripheral nerve, adipose tissue, plant material, cartilage, and bone. That’s not all folks, also found in some of the burgers were intracellular parasites known as Sarcocystis. An animal is infected with Sarcocystis when it ingests material contaminated with the infected feces of another animal. Below is a fun little info graphic on the life cycle of this parasite. [link to www.realfarmacy.com] Enjoy ! Nothing besides the allegedly universal fecal matter is alien to your diet as an omnivore. Get over it. |

If they are grinding the ENTIRE cow, those burgers should be close to 50% beef. Now THAT is scarey, what else are they adding? Oh yeah, all the scraps from other beef industries. Wonder where the eyes, brain and spine go when the butcher is done cutting out those fine NY Steaks? INTO THE BLENDER! Remember, if they ground the entire cow alive, that would make a burger with 50% beef content. |

Some vegetarians do not eat meat for the life of the animals. Others prefer a dietary approach for health. Once test-tube beef is a common product, you'll have vegetarians who eat non-living animal beef. So there will be a distinction in the coming decade. |
