Well, it's you who called lies and gullible, yet to all our knowledge, it's just 2-14 % meat in the fast food burgers.

The mean water weight of the burgers was about 50%. Now for the strange part, actual meat content in the burgers ranged from 2.1% to 14.8 percent. That’s right, the product that you are expecting to get is only 2-14% of what you really think it is!


What made up the rest of the burger you ask? Well a variety of fun and interesting tissue types were found. The tissues found other than skeletal muscle tissue aka meat, were connective tissue, blood vessels, peripheral nerve, adipose tissue, plant material, cartilage, and bone. That’s not all folks, also found in some of the burgers were intracellular parasites known as Sarcocystis.

As for the other comment, since when does McDonalds account for all fast food in the UK? I'm pretty sure Bob's chipper down the road isn't using 100% beef..

So you actually think that when you go to the cheapest fast food restaurant, and experts in cutting costs, you will actually get anything but the cheapest ingredients, like fine meat, in your burger, yet it's you who is the non gullible?

The Trader Joe's vege sausage patties are fantastic - I ask anyone to try them and not admit they are a perfect/better substitute - with 6 grams of protein, low sodium, and the texture and spice is just delicious. And no I don't work for Trader Joe's, haha.

I buy a 6 pack of burgers from Aldi's for about $6.50. The ingredients list literally has one word: "Beef".

They taste delicious.
