They record all phone calls in the US both cell and land lines. I worked on equipment to do just that in the 90's, before I quit for ethical reasons. Probably all internet traffic too, but I don't have firsthand knowladge of that.

They are gathering data on us and if we ever DO become a 'person of interest' there it'll be, all neat and tidy for them to go through. All it will take is a change in what constitutes a suspicious person, like say not supporting a particular agenda or government official. Even Lincoln jailed dissenters and he wasn't the only one.

Ie My wife is a physician she has a patient who suffered a traumatic Brain injury. The man now acts similar to somewhat autistic person, and is mostly kind person.

Several Days later the SS secrete service shows up now he is on the watch list I am sure NSA is involved... He mentions my wife as his Doctor... Now she is on the list..
He lives with his brother ... his brother is on the list
for years they start gathering data you see it is almost automatic email phone calls etc. it goes on for years now.

Years in the future we have a political revolution by let say a fascist state of Govt. They now know everything about you political, sexual, religious..
