US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden accepts Venezuela's offer of asylum, senior Russian politician tweets Why is anyone convinced Snowden has even been in Russia this whole time? We have not even seen a current picture of him for over a month. Perhaps the NSA is leaking information purposefully and using his identity as a frontman. If they really wanted him they could very easily go get him. Quoting: Kai D Kravit (VALIS) At this point anything is possible, I'll give you that. |

US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden accepts Venezuela's offer of asylum, senior Russian politician tweets Thanks for answering that question for me. I thought it was kinda strange. Well, if he is still sitting in an airport (Like "The Terminal") - and Obama is so tough -- why don't we just go get him? Apparently we cannot find the right terminal and right person, so maybe we aren't the meow we thought we were. So now he is going to Venezuela. Good for him. I still want to know what really happen with 911. :) |

Still, have not seen anything from this guy that we did not already know or suspect. Still a traitor in my book. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden accepts Venezuela's offer of asylum, senior Russian politician tweets Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43087134 Well here's one from the CBC... Snowden makes asylum request, Venezuela confirms Unclear if NSA leaker is able to leave Moscow Venezuela's president says that his country has received an asylum request from NSA leaker Edward Snowden. President Nicolas Maduro had already offered asylum to Snowden, who apparently is holed up in the transit lounge of a Moscow airport. Bolivia and Nicaragua also say they'll grant asylum. Ecuador says it will consider any request. Maduro says it is perhaps the world's "first collective humanitarian asylum" with various countries saying "Come here!" Why the U.S. hasn't nabbed Edward Snowden yet Snowden, Syria, Vladimir Putin's 'Cold Peace' with the West But the United States has cancelled Snowden's passport and it's unclear if he has travel documents he would need to leave Moscow. US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden accepts Venezuela's offer of asylum, senior Russian politician tweets President Obama wants us to conform to his overzealous, deceptive, controlling mastermind plan for us to conform to his regulations, and overmonitorization via NSA. my suggestion : coup detat or else be in a Minority Report. It will end up being a resource finding investment, ruining countries all over the world. USA, CHINA, and RUSSIAS holding of resources. End story is : peaceful resolution after abomination of desolation. Although possibility is that we all come to a peaceful way after we lose many resources. |

I don't where that would be possible, no one would allow it. It would also have to fly over territory whose government would not give permission. |

US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden accepts Venezuela's offer of asylum, senior Russian politician tweets Yep, a real utopian beacon of freedom and liberty. Concerns with freedom of expression, human rights abuses, authoritarianism, press freedom, control of the judiciary, threats to democracy,[98] political intimidation, and "the existence of a pattern of impunity in cases of violence, which particularly affects media workers, human rights defenders, trade unionists, participants in public demonstrations, people held in custody, 'campesinos' (small-scale and subsistence farmers), indigenous people, and women", as well as erosion of separation of powers and "severe economic, infrastructure, and social headaches", and "chronic problems including power blackouts, soaring crime, and a perceived lack of investment in crucial sectors. Extrajudicial killings too! [link to en.wikipedia.org] President Hugo Chávez, who governed Venezuela for 14 years, was elected to another six-year term in October 2012. He died in March 2013. During his presidency, the accumulation of power in the executive branch and the erosion of human rights guarantees enabled his government to intimidate, censor, and prosecute Venezuelans who criticized the president or thwarted his political agenda. President Chávez and his supporters used their powers in a wide range of cases involving the judiciary, the media, and human rights defenders. Prison violence and police abuse remain serious problems. [link to www.hrw.org] Venezuela is among the most violent places of Latin America. Class tension has long been a part of life in the South American country, where armed robberies, carjackings and kidnappings are frequent. In 2009, the homicide rate was approximately 57 per 100,000, one of the world’s highest, having tripled in the previous decade. The capital Caracas has the sixth greatest homicide rate of any large city in the world, with 98.7 homicides per 100,000 residents in 2011. Petty crime such as pick-pocketing is prevalent, particularly on public transport in Caracas. The government in 2009 created a security force, the Bolivarian National Police, which hasn't lowered crime rates in the areas in which it is so far deployed, and a new Experimental Security University.
