Surprise! Huge US Budget Surplus Shatters Record which is no surprise, we haven't been dragged into another war despite the fact our media owners have been hollering, pleading, weeping and yelling for more wars with more Muslims. Of course, government spending is down. But some really strange things are going on which will tear the GOP apart internally....

...The problem here is obvious: ever since food stamps began, it quickly turned into a subsidy program for lower class workers. That is, wages never go up and nor do the people hiring this labor worry about this since paying for healthcare and food is paid by the taxpayers, not the employers. The biggest corporation to exploit labor and tax payers is the Walton group. Walmart’s workers are very heavily subsidized this way.

It keeps them quiet and it also demonizes them. Workers slightly above starvation level wages are agape with rage when they see Walmart workers buying more food than they. So the rage is aimed at the hapless workers and not Walmart’s executives. Nearly all US corporations now play this game. No wage hikes for workers and more food stamps and other government charity programs. The ensuing profits go into the busting coffers of the super rich.
