I take it on a case to case basis. I have to personally know someone to have that strong of a feeling for them, weather they are any color, nation, or religion.

But I can say I am ashamed, of my race and even some of my family. I'm lucky that I grew up in Baltimore foster care. I had to live with everyone. When my family was enjoying their lives on holidays. Black families took me in and treated me like I was their own child.

There was one point when I was getting bullied. Did the white girls at my group home help. No it was black girls and they even taught me how to fight. (Btw, the girls that bullied me didn't do it because I was white, they did it to anyone they thought to be weaker) i even got beat up by skinheads for dating a black guy.

But these are just some of my experiences. I have seen all three sides of this coin.

I'll tell you the truth though. The moment the jury read that Verdict, that trial became the most racist moment probably in the history of mankind.

I was at a sports bar in my city where upper middle/ upper class people hang out.
No blacks are ever there.

You should have seen the smiles and clapping and tipping of the cups when the judge read that verdict.

I was watching these men with their happy moment, glassware clinking as cheers all around. I thought about how many families were cheering Zimmerman on, how many other restaurants and bars were packed with celebrating patrons. Or how many people were celebrating silently inside themselves.

People take expensive vacations to avoid them, manipulate real estates to keep them isolated and put them through shitty schooling so the good jobs are readily available for everyone but them. Don't forget about how many prisons we have in the US. Justice gets served daily.

The way they talk, loud obnoxious. The way they Jig around trying to get everyone to notice them. Pants around their ankles, comb stuck in the greasy hair. Litter everywhere, most have zero pride in taking care of their properties or even taking care of their own families.

Heavy Racism Especially from any of us non blacks, 30+ years of age. Racism is ingrained in us from our baby boomer parents and Grand Parents.

Some might be nice to your face, or if you are a financially productive black you might be able to earn some respect. But you will never be equal in eyes of a white man.

I mostly just ignore black people and that's as far as i go. I honestly give everyone I meet a fair chance. I try hard not to be judgemental.
But, my mother in law will leave a restaurant if she is seated by a black.
My dad will immediately start talking in Ebonics every time he sees a black person.

At the cigar lounge we frequent, if a black off the street walks in, worst treatment you can imagine. It sounds bad, but I don't feel bad when I see people treating blacks unfairly.

You sir, love to generalize. At least you're honest "online" about how you feel, that's a start. Ignoring "blacks" in reality though is simply your inability to be honest in reality. You are judgmental. Just own it. There is vast exception to what you've stated, but your analysis shows you are limited in your scope and experience, that is all.

In times of economic uncertainty, the majority (white) always hate/fear the minority group that threatens their employment opportunities.
It's happened in the US numerous times with the Irish and Italian and Japanese and now Mexican immigration waves.
Unfortunately, it doesn't help anyone on either side to buy into the polarization because the economic booms and busts are controlled by TPTB with their cycles of money printing then money shrinking.
The banks make money on interest when times are good and again by foreclosure when times are bad. The cycle runs and they keep on making that money.
And we poor, working class folks end up hating our neighbor because he has a better job because "he's white" or because of "affirmative action" or because of (you fill in the blank) and never bother to look for the real cause of our misery.

I'm a white southerner and I've never heard a single person in my life say anything remotely like the routine white racism here on GLP. It's shocking to me, so I can't even imagine how you must feel.
