I don't think it's so much racism, more a pack mentality type thing.
My school days were horrific because I was adopted, i.e. different from the majority. I was regularly abused and made the butt of cruel jokes. I have even had an adult say to me 'That's not your real mum anyway'
To explain what I am trying to say, if a deserted town suddenly became populated by two different types of being - one blue and one type red and 70% were blue with only 30% red, it's a sure thing the red's would be made to feel the underdog.
Now, let's say there was some kind of plague (which only affected blues)killed a large percentage of them and the red's became the majority. Exactly the same thing would happen, except with role's reversed, the red's would then treat the blues as inferior.
It's a thing that's inbuilt into a large percentage of the human population, no matter their skin colour.

This is ok for you, but when "white" people start to feel the same way, for the exact same reasons ... they're bad people.

For those new to this thread, you have missed out this thread evolved so I will restate my case. I initially posted this out of anger after seeing one too many hateful, racist posts toward blacks, Muslims, and others. My post was in a poor effort to equalize the level hate toward those groups from whites. I don't really hate white people. I was just angry and absolutely tired of hearing other people's racist shit, so I jumped on the bandwagon.

Now if you care to peruse, there is some very valuable and honest points of discussion in the inner pages. For what it's worth.

Don't give in to the ignorance displayed on this site. Admittedly, I had and wanted to try and resolve hate with more hate. That doesn't work obviously, remember in the end we all have the ability to close down the browser or go elsewhere.

You know what OP I've hated white people since I was young. They were always looking down on the "poor" hispanic child. It wasn't the kids, just the adults, who by the way, should know better. My parents have worked their whole lives to provide for my siblings and myself. Yet, somewhere white people decide that everyone is below them. Glp has only fueled my hatred towards them. Then again I hate blacks, as well as hispanics too. I hate everyone for different reasons. We all have our faults. That's why I love my city. We are divided into certain sections. Blacks on the eastside, whites the northside, people from Mexico and other countries on the westside, and hispanics/latinos on the southside. This division keeps my city prospering. While keeping the violence in certain sections of the city.

Sorry but u.s. media is very biased. Its reported the way they want you to see it. Right now there is a thread about someone getting beaten up in Patterson park, bmore.

I am a local. That happens just about everyday. Locals know don't walk through there at night. Its just not black thugs running through there, you also got skin heads and Mexican gangs.

But because this one time someone yelled for trayvon, its a big deal.

Your question is based on statistics you want to see. Like the statistics for serial killers based on country. Of course we are going to have the most.

Wasn't raised racist, but sometimes I have to really fight against becoming racist because the first things black do is accuse you of being racist which is an INSULT to non-racists. I'm almost to the point that I don't even care if someone thinks I'm racists.

I have trouble understanding why so many people feel that others think they are racist. Where are you being told in real life that you are racist. Can you give me examples of things Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson said make you racist.

I for one welcome difference of opinion when it's not insulting. But the prevalence of name calling, etc. on GLP is what prompted this posting initially.

Based on information and belief, I hate BeTravon Martin, and Rachel Jeantel, for being racist, thuggish, nasty, and barely human in intelligence.

I hate and despise all the power trippers of whatever persuasion that are taking advantage of this incident to further their respective agendas, and wish them all failure in their endeavors.

Regarding other folks, regardless of background and ethnicity, I'll accept them as decent human beings unless and until proven otherwise.

Why do you hate Rachel Jeantel? Because you can't understand her? What makes her a thug? Do you understand that she might have come across nasty in the trial because of the adversarial nature of cross-examination?
