What's totally missing from these photos is obesity, the modern day plague.

they covered more skin to be sure but some of those form fitting ones did not leave much to the imagination.

WOW-the dense pubic hair would be intense-have to go in with a park ranger!!

Also no Tats, piercings or gauges, the other modern day plauge.

I noticed this... There are some who would be considered 'chunky', or 'plump', but there were none who look like the morbidly obese whales you see at the beaches these days...

People definitely had more morality and personal shame back then

Go to the beach today and what you see is Bertha showing ALL her cellulite though all those rolls...

or sally who might as well just go naked ; she has two pieces of one inch material covering entire body;

One thing you'll notice is that a lot of them simply are ugly back then. I'm not talking about a little ugly, I mean seriously ugly.

True--- virtually no morbid obesity is apparent in these photos----wheat and corn were not genetically modified to be addictive back then. They also had no high fructose corn syrup, using beet sugar instead.

There's also a lot more vibrancy and energy in the young people! They look very happy with who they are--- not worried about "measuring up" to ridiculous magazine and media standards. They also look happy to be together!

They are also less hypersexualized--- allowing them to feel like beautiful people.

Sad--- the media and big Ag have succeeded in fattening us up, while at the same time making us unhappy with who we are by showing us unrealistic photos of hyper-sexualized people.

Its very sad ---what has happened to our nation. No wonder there are so many "jumpers" off the golden gate bridge.

Ah, back when men were men and women were women.

... and each knew their place in society.
