It is Jesus who calls us to Him, not the othter way around. So in that why not pray for Him to call all who He will. Preach the good news, the gospels as we are commanded to and love God above all others and love our neighbor as ourselves and you will have fulfilled our mission herein this planet.

The way you put it it seems our lacking is our failure. Get over it. He called us, so be grateful and He will call all of His lost sheep as He is ready to do so.
