a weird thing about aliens.

So, yesterday, we had on national geographic a show on Area 51.

Didn't see the start and didn't see it untill the end, but this is what I got.

So area 51 was a place that was created to build spy-planes in the years whatever, about 50 years ago.

It's purpose was to build spy planes.

So they made testflights there. It is to say these operations (operation oxcart and such, and the U2 spyplane) were very secret. Nobody, except those who worked there and some of the CIA and so knew about it.

So they made testflights with those planes.

Some people noticed and reported it. For such reports they had operation bluebook to lie about what people saw. So, they made up whatever as long as people didn't knew the U.S. had secret spy planes.

So, one of the lies they told, about what people saw, is that they were aliens in spaceships.

Now, my question here is, did we get the thought of the existence of aliens because of the lies they told about the spy planes?

Did the thought of aliens exist before operation bluebook.

So do aliens in fact exist?

Anyhow, they still could exist. But I wonder, who cares if aliens exist or not, physically?
