She must of heard those words numerous times as parents should be teaching them common words, and by the age of 4 they should be able to form sentences and coherent thoughts. The age of 2 they should be able to speak sentences and count to a certain number. It all depends on how much time is spent on learning and how much time is spent on playing and entertainment. I was a military brat and my husbands grandfather was head of agriculture under the Nixon administration. I hadn't heard of indigos until I started searching. My daughter is 4 and didn't speak a word until a week after her 3rd birthday- then sentences. First words were and I swear on my life- " my ears hurt, mommy. This is too much" she never said ball, cat, dog, mom, dad. Nothing. Then that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42788284 Same thing here. Her first words were a sentence, in the parking lot on our way into Costco: "Help, they're hurting me!" (As loud as she could yell) I was sure I was going to be lynched on the spot. We figured out later that she wasn't into the lights and noise of Costco. |
