Last month, thousands of people could not access their social security/disability payments electronically. Another bank fail that was NOT reported by the mainstream media. A pattern is occurring, only in small doses... for now.

Makes me uneasy that states are transfering benefits to these huge banking institutions to begin with.

I saw that occurring an hour ago at a grocery in south Mississippi. Cash line was a breeze. EBT ling was LONG and sullen.

I heard the clerk say to the girl "you could always pay a different way".....BITCH, obviously if they had another payment method, they wouldn't be using food stamps. I love how minimum wage paid cashiers turn their noses up at customer's when they present an EBT card (as if they're not like 1/2 a paycheck away from needing one themself).

hell, the cashier if working for min wage, is probably entitled to food stamps herself.
