Cuba develops anti-cancer treatment without side effects!!!

Cuban researchers are in advanced stages of development of a new treatment against various types of cancer, according to them, does not cause strong side effects of traditional treatments and has a success rate well above normal. The announcement was made in the capital, Havana, by Jose Antonio Fraga, director general of business group Labiofam, which develops the new product.

According to Fraga, after 14 years of exhaustive research and preclinical testing, we had developed a new range of peptides (a type of molecule) created by biotechnological that operates exclusively on cancer cells, without affecting the other, the that would avoid the use of existing cytostatics, and has a surprisingly impactful effect. In tests already conducted in mice, one of these new peptides created in the laboratory, 'RJLB-14', caused a reduction of tumors by 95% in just nine days of treatment and in many cases to the total eradication of the disease.

Fraga said he is not creating false expectations that people today face the cancer, but to announce concrete results of detailed studies and that the product is already in the phase of toxicology tests, so that in 2014, it requested authorization to test in humans.

To speed up the arrival of the final product, the business group that develops new peptides scored for 18, 19 and 20 September in Havana a large international symposium on which to share data already acquired and expects to receive contributions from researchers from other parts of world to augment the new treatment and make it reach the market as soon as possible.
