Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26614631 “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. whiteangel (OP) also known as WA User ID: 43857184 United States 08/11/2013 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Shouldn't this quake have been felt all up and down the East Coast? That's what seismologist said a couple years ago when the last earthquake happened. I think it was in Virginia. If this one today was barely felt then it means that the one in Virginia was from something other than a natural quake. Some said it was from an underground nuclear detonation. Thread: Seismograph Evidence Shows Virginia Earthquake Caused by a NUKE!!! No, it was very deep at 329km. Few will have felt this thing. shadasonic User ID: 41520215 United States 08/11/2013 10:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ah, man...the rural areas are sweet. Adirondacks are just farking awesome. Maybe make NYC its own little progressive country/state and leave the rest alone. Here on the St. Lawrence River is simplicity and beauty as well . Really nice peeps too . I agree upper New York is awesome, the 'city' isn't for me. We need to watch and see if any more quaking appears around the craton, watch for Ohio, Virginia etc... “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. Is it my imagination, or does that seem like a really long quake? Forgive me for having to ask, but I don't think I've seen that particular graph before. It did rumble for awhile. Not sure it was that full ten minutes that it looks like. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1642145 United States 08/11/2013 10:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why is an earthquake funny because its in newyork? People could die if a massive magnitude happens. Its not funny if its in another state or any state in the Us. I would be terrfied with the ground shaking, have you ever seen an earthquake disaster video? |

Does anyone know off the top of their head if a quake registered when the towers fell? Just wondering. ( Home of the Herkimer diamond ;) ) Or Oswego NY. Does fracking cause deep quakes like that? or are they more towrds the surface. BTW I am In Albany area and did not feel anything. |
