do you eat when you are bored?

I used to do it for a while and then I got fatter. I never got really fat cause at the point where I could actually see a difference in my belly, a good amount of fat that wasn't there a year or so before , I had enough motivation to stop that habit. Food isn't for amusement, it is to keep you alive. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a meal or snack but it shouldn't become something to kill time with.
Now I don't eat just for the sake of it. I only eat when hungry. If I just ate dinner and an hour or so later a friend comes along with a bag of chips I won't eat from it cause I know I have already eaten and there is no point to it.
The taste isn't the main satisfaction anymore, it is stilling the hunger after you have waited for your food. That is why I don't eat when I am full or not hungry, it doesn't give me that same satisfaction as eating a good meal when you are starving. I didn't used to like feeling hungry but I made it into something positive by trying to still my hunger with fewer bigger healthier meals instead of constantly snacking. That way you feel greater satisfaction and also comfort of knowing you won't be hungry for a good couple of hours.

Check for MSG in the products that you eat, MSG will make you hungry all of the time. It is also under the name of enzymes, natural flavorings. Do a google search on MSG.

nah bored when i eat.........

it cuts down your appetite for about 5 hours, then you get really hungry when it wears off, and your metabolism drops.

the hunger, combined with lowered energy will make you fat.

if you solve the problem of being bored you solve the entire world's problems.

thinking of things to do is something so obvious, and yet it really is the whole meaning of life.

the whole world economy is nothing more than people thinking of things to do and take pleasure in doing.

but it is harder than you think. If everyone could do it, everyone would be an employer, instead of an employee.


and here's big hint. the more you eat, the more bored you get.

I burn off everything I take in anyways so I'm not particularly worried about that aspect yet. I'm very fit, actually.

No, my vice of choice is GLP.

Which could be worse.


Though redirecting your "hunger" to something else helps with eating while bored.
