Balloons User ID: 42653865 Denmark 08/21/2013 11:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In Japanese culture (I think) the number 4 represents death, or bad luck. If I remember correctly, there was a period of time when buildings "skipped" the fourth floor, 2-3-5, etc. on elevators and whatnot. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45548451 I forget where I was going with this story. yes the 13th floor also, suposed to represent bad luck or for some good luck, but its really for the 13th guest and gues who Please hold still so I can cut your hair long |
Useless Cookie Eater User ID: 29696048 United States 08/21/2013 11:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My son told me today that his high school has 4 floors but the kids/staff only use the 3 bottom floors. Apparently no on is allowed on the 4th floor and he said it looks like jail bars up there so no one can enter. This school is about 10 years old. Why the heck is there a 4th floor and what is it intended for? Thoughts? Quoting: jennster333 Tell him....that's where they chain up the bad kids. |
