The only thing that will stop their Thousand Year Reich is a failure of the machines that run it. I read One Second After and it is a hopeful book.

I'll be surprised if it doesn't do much of anything 50 points either way. Just another "sleepy august day of trading"

In reality they are never gonna be able to taper. And we are well on our way to hyper inflation.

I predicted after the Boston bombings we would see silver at $15 and gold at $1,000 and hyper inflation within a year.

Missed on the metals, but we've gotta be past the point of no return on the money printing!

What's your top end estimate on gold and silver?

I'll never be all the way out of either metal, I think that's the only way to play it.

But I could see $100+ silver. It really should be there anyway just adjusted for inflation. Gold maybe $2,250 or so.

That's short term obviously. I'm saying a year or so.

It's just a fine line short term of $500 silver $50 for a gallon of gas $25 for a loaf of bread and so on.

I hope that its more of a 5-10 year deal where silver jumps up around $500 because of shortage with oil and silver becoming the first "extinct" element.

If we see silver much higher than $75 in the near term hyper inflation has hit and we are all screwed. But I'm definitely playing for the 5 to 10 year time frame.

I've got a 30 year fixed rate mortgage at 3.5%. If it happens that half of my silver can pay the house off I'd probably sell. But even at that, I may just reinvest since 3.5% is about as low as the mortgage rates went on a 30 year fixed.

Silver will make you more money in the long run. Considering silver comes out of the ground at 9.5:1 it should be $150 now!

If you go by the fact the investment grade bullion is 5:1 gold to silver, that says silver should be $8,000 but obviously that's not gonna happen.

I know people claim one day silver will be worth more than gold. But I really have a hard time believing that. psychologically people will always value gold over silver in my opinion.

Gold will NEVER drop again! The Bernank has lost control of the situation which is why they are now simply turning off and rolling back bad trades for Obama. Once they do this a few more times, all money will keep going straight into gold.

Today is friday normally have not strong up fridays and more down to finish session ,seasonal 50 years exponencial.
More easy up strong a monday,tuesday or wednesday.
