The Game

- "The Game" refers to a cosmic "battle" which has been going on forever
- It is about surviving the "system," which is a sort of "prison" we live in. It is not so much about laws as it is about social and philosophical norms - what is considered "the standard" of operating within life. Many who attempt to walk outside of this "system" find themselves accosted by aspects of the "gods" which challenge their every idea - victory for the player usually results in being able to maintain one's identity and ideas governing reality while still operating normally within society
- If we are all capable of "channeling" aspects (we are the "vessels"), this game is about philosophical or "spiritual" battles with these aspects which manifest through all facets of life (other people mainly)
- This can be very confusing and scary and
- There are many examples of this throughout history, mythology, religions, and philosophy
- "Spiritual journeys" mostly refer to versions of this game
- Every outstanding philosopher, religious leader, "prophet," etc. has done battle with the forces that inhabit this "game"

Within the game we see the "time loop" which is a representation of what appears to be the eternal retelling of this story. As alluded to in the beginning of this thread, this has been happening over and over again. The one "x factor" seems to be technology....or science and wisdom...the forces which allow us to have a steady foothold with which to PROVE that things are real. We are never able to prove that things are NOT real and so therefor, we continuously see an outward and inwardly expanding SPIRAL rather than a traditional "loop."

we're making our own loop this time imo.

That is the name of the game. We see history repeating itself simply because people have had a tendency to forsake the notion of free will. This seems to be due to a certain laziness as well as a hopelessness which is remedied by a belief that an external "higher force" will intervene on our behalf and save our asses. This would be lovely (were it true) but we have never seen evidence of this. What we have seen is that people who give enough of a damn to actually struggle to achieve things tend to win out over those who leave their futures to "fate."

How do 'Fate' and 'Free will' dance?

"The Game" is like being exposed to a group which controls what aspects present themselves in reality. This group tests the experiencer to see which aspects the experiencer will deem necessary or unnecessary to maintain. It is as if the universe is asking, "So you don't like how this shit is set up? Tell us how to fix it then, smart ass." The initial reaction is to erase things like "greed," "hate," "anger," "sorrow," etc. but the truly aware person will see that actually all things which exist have equal right to do so. If, by thinking a new thought, there is the smallest possibility we will bring forth a new and sentient thing into the universe, we have no right to take its free will. Free will is the greatest ability we have. We must not restrict its access to others...even the POSSIBILITY that something sentient can arise means we must respect it.
