Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
Completely evil. Ever seen that? Ever seen a horror movie with demons faces in it.

Never mind. I don't expect some to understand this. It is spiritual in nature.
 Quoting: Ms. Superduper

This is a gift. Good that you did not take any action as none was needed. Our discernment is not one that is always correct it is more on a gutteral level you just know you sense and then compile it through many different ways that some spiritual persons cannot understand. It may be the reason he was their and no one else seemed aware is that it was for your benifit alone to raise awareness of the unseen things. You speak of evil at a level most cannot comprehend they think Hitler or Stalin as that is their perception and fail to realize its depth.

BS! Many of us understand dark forces and entities . This particular thread rings of self edification and exaggeration .
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45431526

I never implied it was only christians that can do this because it is not many can see. When i said our I meant all those that can see things on a level different from ours this is something that completely bypass religion and is pure spirituality. Whatever the meaning of this particular account is we will not know.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
You are not alone. There are others who have this gift and it is impossible to explain it to others or convince the blind. They will never believe it. Only when they are dead and its too late.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45774814

And just how does this "gift" benefit the body of Christ here ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45431526

Because at times a few chosen do comprehend it and are moved toward christ that is very rare though I think but I have seen it myself on one occasion. Most times I feel it is working on the level of the believer that witness it raising awareness to what is happening behind the curtain.

OP, I believe you. It's a spiritual thing. I've also seen a few demons that were in people. There wasn't a scared feeling but just a feeling of confirmation inside that this is what it is (awareness). I believe it's the Holy Spirit letting us know.

Some of you guys that do not have a close relationship with God (not full surrendered) do not know what it is like to have the God given gift of seeing in the "supernatural". As far fetched as i once thought about this so called "supernatural" gifts God gives to his true people..i use to think it was a bunch of fairytale, nonsense, etc but once i came to a point in my own life of total surrender to God and i let go of the love of this world, the things of this world, etc and i truly found God. He began to give me these supernatural gifts too that allowed me to see in the "supernatural" realm.

This is why most of the replies in here are nothing but bashing the OP because they simply do not understand and i actually understand why they are resorting to immature name calling and totally disbelief and having anger towards the OP because i was once like these repliers here in this thread but make no mistake about it..there are demons all around us..some in people that you cant see or notice but once you get that strong relationship with God and NO that does not mean going to church on Sunday and the rest of the week you have no relationship with God..it requires dedication and a love to study Gods work and pray to him daily. There is so much contrived on this thread . Jesus clearly told us to "Judge not , lest we be judged " in one of a few references . What you say is false.
You are referring to a future point in time in scripture .
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45431526

I can't tell you how sick I am of "Judge not lest ye be judged." People apply it to every damn thought a person has...and that is not the intention of the scripture. "Passing judgement" is not speculating, giving an opinion nor sharing an experience from your own view. It is coming to a serious decision that will have consequences for the person you are judging. That is the very NATURE of JUDGEMENT. That is why a Judge passes a RULING.

Still do not know why I saw this or for what reason or what the hell, but yes it was REAL!!!!

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
I can totally relate

Years ago I went to volunteer at the local children's home for kids who were taken from abusive or druggie parents, etc., and didn't have placement yet. The Lord told me to look for a girl named Jessica. I didn't know why, but I knew that I needed to find this girl. Those kids don't get much personal attention, they are just herded around and given their basic needs, although the babies get a bit more attention. All the children came in, and I asked if there was a Jessica in the group, but they said no. I was wondering why that name was on my mind. We began to work with the kids to decorate cupcakes. A few moments later, a shy, traumatized little girl, maybe 3-4 years old was brought in - looking like she'd had a rough night. Her name was Jessica! I went to her and totally focused on giving her attention. I drew some pictures of a teddy bear for her, which she requested, and spent the time trying to make her feel special. She also had a baby brother, named Israel, which was meaningful to me. I found out they had been taken late at night from a bad home - some type of crime going on in the home although I don't remember as it's been many years. Finally, the little ones left, and they brought in a group of older kids, like grade school age up to around 12. This one boy, who was about 11 or 12, he was very strange, almost creepy. I tried to talk to him about God's love for him, Jesus, etc., asking him if he knew about him, and the kid would freak out, try to get away, as if the name of Jesus alone was painful to him to hear. He looked at me with those weird eyes and said, "Do you drive a green car?". I was pretty freaked out by then because I did indeed, drive a green Nova at the time. There was no way for him to have seen me drive up from where they keep the children, as there are not windows to the parking lot or outside from the kids rooms. I asked him how he knew that, and he just sneered at me. I got the strong suspicion he'd been taken from a home where Satanic ritual abuse may have been practiced, I don't know. It was anything but normal, for sure.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
I took my elderly mom to the walk-in clinic for some minor issue that was not really an emergency. If you knew her, you would understand.

After we go in, pay and register, we sat in a room full of people, kind of crowded - back to school exams, etc. There would be a lengthy wait. In order to avoid some germs and such, I went outside for a minute or two.

As I was outside, up walked three individuals - 2 grown women, kind of dressed the same, dress or skirts, etc.- maybe top 30s or 40s. They got someone out of the backseat - it took a few minutes it seemed.

When they walked by me, the third individual was someone I could not distinguish was male or female, as happens actually quite regularly these days. This one had on tennis shoes, shorts, kind of small but muscular legs, short hair. The face was unusual to say the least, as far as I could see at that point.

After I went back in to sit with mom, these 3 were seated close by. I saw in the third person a face of a demon. It was not an expression of the face or a mean look or anything like that. It was, if I may compare, like the images one sees in horror and demonic movies.

The chin was jutted out and the teeth overlapped and were clenched, as in one of those images I described. The eyes were as that of a demon straight up.

As I continued to sit with mom, I looked around to try and gauge the reactions of the others in the room - no reaction whatsoever. I checked that several times. There was NO noticeable reaction from anyone, not even the people behind the desk.

As we waited, the individual twice let out some guttural noise and the caregiver woman (for lack of a better word) would tap the individual and the noise would stop. This happened twice. (Let the record show, that this was NOT someone with a disability, etc.)

Some time went by and I could hardly keep my eyes open. I was sooo very sleepy and the thought of sitting in wait for another hour or so was inconceivable to me. I really thought I could curl up on a chair and sleep away.

So I suggested to mom that we go and come back the next day and we did.

There are two parts that bother me about this - actually three -

1. That no one else noticed anything different at all.
2. That I'm the only one apparently who witnessed this.
3. That I became soooo sleepy.
4. That I woke up on Monday morning with this on my mind.
(I know what to do and how to pray and how to share
with a sister who understands these things though.)

Rest assured, I fear no one or thing. If you knew of my 'walk' you would understand. Maybe there are those who have had similar lives. Maybe there are those who have experienced something like I did on Sat.

Given all of the news these past couple of days and things like this, I submit that we are truly in the last days before Jesus' return so choose everlasting life - I beg of you.

OP spoke of comparisons to hollywood 'horror movies'..... That's special spiritual discernment? Anyone can watch these movies and then see things they claim mimic the movies and make these accusations.. That's not discernment..

Spiritual discernment is sourced in the heart - not in the brain (mind) which only sees with the physical eyes. Her whole reasoning for labeling this person a 'demon' was the physical appearance. OP sounds like she's uncomfortable seeing or being around people with significant/severe handicaps or disabilities....

What's that saying in the bible?

"you will know them by the fruits they bear"

Do we only apply that standard to 'false prophets'??? Where's the line that tells us to judge others based on their physical deformities/abnormalities?

hmm
 Quoting: ANHEDONIC

No we should let everyones fruits of labor show for the truth. I'm not sure of the horror movie reference myself but some of this stuff is borderline incomprehensible to those that cannot see it. You reach for words to describe something very difficult to describe.

The reason I say good that there was no action taken is sometimes discernment fails and we are wrong there is a lesson in this for OP. If nothing more than to reasure faith. The Bible speaks of false prophets like you say but we also know that its speaks in the end times that the veil thins, sons and daughters will dream and speak prophacies. And that is what I account that this could be.Is it really though who knows?Unless you were there. It is different once you have seen.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
I do not quarrel over opinions & I understand why some people have disbelief and anger because i was once there myself. I am not here pointing fingers and yes there is a place to judge others.

Let me point out where a lot of people take a quote out of the bible and spin it to their own liking. They cherry pick certain segments of scripture and ignore the rest of the scripture!

Example: Read the entire quote

Matthew 7:1-5

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

As you see above, what does taking out a spec in a brothers eye mean? It means judging! that is what the entire scripture above is referring too1...the bible states..we should NOT judge anyone or anything if we are judging someone or something that we have a problem with our self! If we do not have a personal problem on the thing we are judging with another person..then it is our right to judge, "righteously"

Then we have this scripture below...

1 Corinthians 2:15 s

The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.

-----------------

1 Corinthians 5:12-13

For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

There are many more scriptures of "judging" righteously in the Scriptures..but i think i said enough.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
Fascinating story OP and thanks for sharing. I don't think this was an isolated thing - I think demons are - at least in my area held strong by the "principalities and powers" of Satan - present in at least half of the people (including children) that I see.

Years ago I began to describe what I could feel - I could tell if someone was a "contrary spirit" by looking at them, hearing their voice over the phone etc. Sometimes I would be tricked and not know until I had alreay interacted with them for a minute - or a few minutes - then BOOM - you know.

I'm saved, and I think demons in people sense it right away - so an otherwise friendly seeming person suddenly becomes nasty or is quietly seething and working against you.

I have to say though, that if I saw someone with actually demonic eyes sitting near me, I would leave.

You say you are not afraid of anything, and I understand that because I feel the same way. BUT - it can be misleading in the sense that we should ALWAYS be afraid - in the sense that we say constant prayers of protection and avoid being around demons at all costs. We need to remember that Satan is the god of THIS world, and in this end times -God has removed his hand of protection over our country. So lots of bad things are going to happen - even to believers. Still, we remain steadfast in our faith, and call upon the power of Jesus to deliver us.

First of all it goes against reason to
believe that demons are ugly and repulsive
creatures. They would be beautiful and
alluring in order to attract...not repell.

Secondly, demons do not exist. It is just another
foolish fear placed into the hearts and minds
of so-called christian people.

Thirdly, what is the purpose of this thread?
Is it so that readers may recognize how 'spiritual'
and wise the OP has become?

I heard no love in any word she chose to use
describing this individual, who was so repulsive
she was unable to remain in it's presence.

I'm seriously questioning who the demon really
is in this situation.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
you should have struck up a pleasant conversation about Christianity with your mom, maybe, tap your nose so she gets it that your performing a ruse, and made a point of saying Jesus, Christ, and Jesus Christ, throw in a God, word of the Lord or Bible every so often, not obnoxiously, loud, or for a protracted amount of time to be offensive, just audible enough to be certain the Demon would hear.
That should dive it off or kill it, were it really Hell-spawned.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
That's creepy. I just took my stepdaughter food shopping for her dorm and swore I saw a demon lady in Publix. Maybe she was on something, but she just looked so disturbed and had a really distorted smile. Reminded me of an Aphex Twin album cover.

I recognized that before I made this thread that it would stir up every demon in hell. So let the good times roll. Jesus is Lord.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
There are many demons in this world I have met many during my working life. I have never seen their faces as you have op I have only felt their presence. The only thing I noticed was the eyes always the eyes. There were devoid of love. sound stupid to some Im sure but lest you have experienced it you cannot understand.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
its not so far fetched to think you couldnt spot a demon , we are being infiltrated at an alarming rate, certain more IN TUNE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE FAR MORE AWARE , than the average shmuck, if we are in a holographic universe , a synthetic computer generated world and i feel strongly that we are indeed , and everything is frequency , and code. then all you have to do is repeat a certain frequecie and open a portal, let the dark entites in and thats that. the 528 hz is a good loving frequecy , and i think the bad or evil is 741HZ and a few others, welcome to the show, i too have see some very strange looking humans , thatwould scare anyone.

Re: Straight up DEMON in the walk-in clinic
This is a spiritual matter - nothing in the flesh.
 Quoting: Ms. Superduper

But what you were describing were fleshly attributes. Possibly you were able to "sense" a demonic spirit, but I have seen many physically and/or mentally handicapped people some of whom would fit your description fairly well. When a person is severely handicapped, (whether it shows or not) he or she is often accompanied by a caretaker, especially outside the home.
