Jesus died on April 1st, 33 AD, Passover, but when was he born?

He was about 46 years old when he died. 45 years and 6 months to be exact. See below:

57 Then said the jewish people unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

"Further proof that Jesus was in his 40s when he died comes directly from the Gospel of John. Jesus is discussing the destruction of the temple and he says: “Destroy this temple, and in 3 days I will raise it up.” The jewish people then said, ‘This temple has been under construction for 46 years, and you will raise it up in 3 days?’ But he was speaking of the temple of his body (John 2:20-21).” John points out that later, when he is crucified, Jesus’ disciples remembered his prophecy of the 3 days; however, no one seems to recall the 46 years. Taken at his word, Jesus is clearly saying that he is 46 years old, and that when he dies, he will resurrect in 3 days.

We find further proof that Jesus is in his 40s from the Gospel of John. Jesus is in a Temple, close to the Mount of Olives, talking to the Scribes and Pharisees. The subject turns to Abraham, and the “jewish people” ask Jesus: “You are not yet 50 years old, and have you seen Abraham? (8:57).”Jesus answers: “…before Abraham was, I am”, but the important thing to observe here is that the questioners describe Jesus as not yet being 50. Were he in his 20s or 30s, they would have chosen a different year, but by saying that he is not yet 50, they clearly identify him as being in his forties."

Subtract 45 years and 6 months from 33 AD and what year will you arrive to? 12 BC!

"If recorded dates of human, earthly and universal phenomena and episodes are some things to get by and consider or better still if we have to be technical about it, Jesus was born in October 10, 12 BC.

If you recall the "Star Of Bethlehem" or what we call today as Halley's Comet, there is no other explanation but to concede that indeed Christ was born on the 12th BC, and between August to October 10.

Halley's comet visits which is the most resplendent and apparent comet whenever it passes our skies had been recorded since 240 BC. And this comet comes every 75 to 77 years and that it is possible to be seen twice in one's lifetime. I was fortunate that I saw Halley's comet when it last visited the earth, last February, 1986.

There were two very popular and recorded visits of the Halley's comet, and that was October 10, 12th BC and January 25, 66 AD surrounding the birth of Christ. Both were recorded by astronomers, scientists and historians of those times from different nations all over. Now if we have to be technical and logical, the most probable date nearest would be October 10, 12th BC. Although there were other possible comets that visited our skies, none were more popular and resplendent than the famous and majestic, Halley's Comet.

If indeed this was the case of Christ's Nativity, then Christmas should be in October 10 and not December 25."

So I looked up Oct. 10th, 12 BC to find out what day it was in the Jewish Calendar, and to my amazement, it was Shemini Atzeret, the 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles!

It would be Oct. 10th, 11 BC since the calendar convertor includes a 0 year, so you would subtract 1 from 12 BC to make it 11 BC.

October 10th, 11 BC is Shemini Atzeret or Tishri 23.

The Birth of Jesus Christ.

"Since Jesus was conceived six months after John the Baptist, and we have established a likely date for John's birth, we need only move six months farther down the Jewish calendar to arrive at a likely date for the birth of Jesus. From the 15th day of the 1st month, Nisan, we go to the 15th day of the 7th month, Tishri. And what do we find on that date? It is the festival of Tabernacles! The 15th day of Tishri begins the third and last festival of the year to which all the men of Israel were to gather in Jerusalem for Temple services. (Lev 23:34)

Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Immanuel means "God with us". The Son of God had come to dwell with, or tabernacle on earth with His people.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), occurs five days after the Day of Atonement, and is a festival of rejoicing and celebration of deliverance from slavery in Egypt (Leviticus 23:42-43).

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Why was there no room at the inn? Bethlehem is only about 5 miles from Jerusalem, and all the men of Israel had come to attend the festival of Tabernacles as required by the law of Moses. Every room for miles around Jerusalem would have been already taken by pilgrims, so all that Mary and Joseph could find for shelter was a stable. During Tabernacles, everyone was to live in temporary booths (Sukkot), as a memorial to Israel's pilgrimage out of Egypt - Lev. 23:42-43. The birth of the Savior, in what amounted to a temporary dwelling rather than a house, signaled the coming deliverance of God's people from slavery to sin, and their departing for the promised land, which is symbolized by Tabernacles.

Also of note is the fact that the Feast of Tabernacles is an eight day feast (Lev 23:36, 39). Why eight days? It may be because an infant was dedicated to God by performing circumcision on the eighth day after birth:

Luke 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

So the infant Jesus would have been circumcised on the eighth and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, a Sabbath day. The jewish people today consider this a separate festival from Tabernacles, and they call it Shemini Atzeret."

The Star of Bethlehem is Halley's Comet. Jesus was not in a manager but otherwise known as a Sukkot during the Feast of Tabernacles.

Jesus was born on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Tishri 15 and 8 days later, he was given his name "Jesus" on Shemini Atzeret!

"So with Christ’s revised birth date of 12 B.C., is there evidence to support it? Was there an astronomical sign or a census that year for Christ’s parents to take part in? The answer is yes!
