I don't think that's why they are sent there. Islamists are hell bent on expanding their religion/way of life by any means possible. Must be really bad if other muslims have had enough and don't want those radicals setting the course (like in Egypt and lately in Tunisia).

That's how I saw it as well...but lately I'm starting to see it in different light.
They don't respect free will of others, they try impose their point of on everyone around them. Going as far as brainwashing children (well there were also those beheadings of christians done by them but don't know why they did it).
They need to be stopped.

Exactly. They are sent there to destroy the secular government and cause terror and chaos and bloodshed.
