Syria is invaded by barbarians (partly funded by the West)and the West wants them to give up their chemical weapons arsenal while Israel can keep hundreds of nuclear warheads and chemical and biological weapons?

Being surrounded by enemies doesn't justify nuclear weapons because Israel would become inhabitable too if they used it in any of the surrounding countries. So what do they need the nuclear weapons for? Europe? Russia? It is not for self defense purposes that's for sure.
