Big fucking deal.

It won't take a week before someone hack that shit.

Plus, I would not use those ugly fonts for anything.

I love it when somebody beats the system. Probably won't be long before google catches on to this but it shows there's always hope.

These fonts are probably tagged and anyone who uses them is an instant person of interest.

Could be red flagged fonts

those looking to defeat the system tend to have information they want. Sometimes really badly.

Look at who created them, a service member.

Those fonts were probably designed to prevent false ID of thousands of regular fonts.

Use at your own risk.

No. No way around it. Doesn't matter what the font is. If it is in text form, the security benefit is zero. If people convert all text to images using this font, then we're getting somewhere.

I am sure someone with OpenCV experience would be able to crack it very easy. BTW it has use only as printed material but in that case you can write with your own hand-writing and it will have the same effect (non readable by OCR algorithms)

Problem there is a lot of self made fonts will still be readable.

This is why the security codes (type in the scrambled word) are always updated.

Computers are very dumb until they are told what to do. technically, any new font is unreadable except the system uses many various character detection rules. Not one routine is used.

in short, no, new fonts will not work. These posted about fonts were designed specifically to defeat these systems.

Otherwise, random dots around the letter would work. Strike through a few pixels low would work. Spelling backwards, mid-letter scrambling, it is all considered and defeated.

These characters will probably be ID'ed generically by straight up pixel pattern. Then the logic behind the defeating will be worked around soon.

Until then, no one knows if these were planted as bait or if they are real data logging defeaters.

would only work if using images instead of text in docs and emails etc. most people (sheep) even the wolves would not want to be bothered with having to use an intermediary

I think this is a false perception for example, the ASCII decimal value for the letter 'A' is 33 regardless of the font style. Google will read it as normal anyway.

I believe this font is meant for an already printed document on paper. When this font is scanned from a FAX or Paper document with this font, it will confuse the OCR algorithm resulting in garbled characters.

Well, don't expect me to give up my tricks. though generally yes, the belief is it is impossible to truly hide the code.

But there are unique work arounds.

Dealing with fonts that can not be logged...if tricking a person, I can do that. If tricking a computer, I can do that too. But not the NSA, they are most likely a front. The REAL bulldog is in another corner, behaving far worse.

Not everyone is a threat. Many levels in between, what ever you call them.

Attempting to circumvent the NSA will raise their eyebrows, to say the least.

It is unfortunate, I support 100% freedom, a true-free market and a separation of Market & State. Just like separation of Church & State.
