The customer was trying to pay for a $1.41 cigar at a Lakewood, CA., Conoco gas station earlier this month with just a $1 bill when he became enraged after being told he needed the other 41 cents, causing him to bash the 23-year-old clerk in her face. I had to pay up for my fuckup. How many people do you think she has let by short a penny here or there. Quite a few I bet. |

Exactly. my kiosk wasn't that big. But we had to count up the inventory before and after our shift (including the gas). and kept or paid the difference. I never maid anything extra. But always had to pay a few dollars. You wouldn't believe how many people always come up a penny or two short. Especially for gas. Everyone always seems to bring exact change to the pumps. |
