Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tweeted pictures showing NPS barricades closing off the bus turn-around near Mount Vernon, even though that site is privately owned and funded and is open during the shutdown. Blogger Stephen Gutowski of College Politico tweeted that Mount Vernon officials confirmed that the NPS shut down their parking lots Tuesday morning which are co-owned by Mount Vernon and the NPS. The NPS eventually reopened those lots after complaints from Mount Vernon officials.

Not at any time did the National Park Service attempt to close George Washington's home. The NPS closed the parking lot, which is co-owned by the NPS and Mount Vernon. The parking lot has been re-opened after Mount Vernon officials complained to the NPS.

National Park Service (NPS) appears to be part of the Obama Gestapo now.

You do understand that the House has sent over individual bills to fund the government, except Obamacare. The democrats in the senate and the president have chosen to not sign them. Instead they have decided to play games and try to hurt innocent people's lives.

Obama sent home 400,000 civilian contractors even though their pay was included in the military bill that was signed by the senate and Obama. He had thugs/security block the WWII vets memorial, when there has never been security there in the past. Thank God the republican party paid to keep it open. Obama sent more security there than the consulate in Benghazi. Interesting, right? And he negotiates with terriosts but not hs own government.

He tried to keep people from visiting Mt. Vernon when they refused to shut down. They have falsely reported millions visiting and acquiring insurance through Obamacare, which has been proven wrong. A majority of the states had a handful of people signed up at most. Many have finally realized they cannot afford Obamacare and will take the penalty instead. We learn yesterday that the IRS will take the fine directly from your bank accounts. More government intrusions.

Did you know that Egypt's deputy minister reported that Obamama told him he was still a true Muslim. Do you need more proof that he is out to hurt our great country? Now he threatens to withhold Social Security payments next month, even though that is not part of the shut down system. He wants the innocent to feel his pain.

A monkey could do a better job than this excuse for a president. I support the office of the president, not this impostor. And before you jump on me, I'm neither a democrat or republican. I will vote for those who will uphold our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Not Obama's twisted versions.

Action must come from this or else we have no respect in not just the country but the very principles this nation was founded on.
