very weird dream this morning

i know some of you don't like dream threads, but this one is a bit weird.

it was around 04:45utc

me and this other fella were out on the roads, here in the UK, working. This isn't my usual job btw, so i don't know if I was seeing something through another person's eyes.

We were both wearing those big yellow waterproof jackets, seemingly discussing work related issues, though I can't remember at all the discussion. It was a bog standard day here in the UK, grey, bit breezy, drizzly. The streets were tree lined, and had leaves on them.

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, this MASSIVE gust of wind hit, with a sort of bang, and we both said, 'whoa, wtf is THIS?' there was a huge flash of light in the sky too, which in the dram I put down to lightning, but I remember distinctly thinking in the dream 'this isn't the type of weather for lightning!'.

The trees were ALL bent at 60 degrees away from the direction the blast of wind came from. After the initial blast of wind, it slightly eased, but kept up an incredible force, bending the trees at around 70 degrees.

I knew I was in trouble, because I had nowhere to shelter, because all the potential shelter, the trees, looked like they could fall at any second. It was hard to move anyway simply because of the force of the wind. You felt if you moved you'd be swept away. All of a sudden, trying to maintain my balance, I felt myself being lifted into the air. Possibly because the big yellow jacket I had on acted like a sort of kite making my surface area much bigger? Up and up I kept going, right over a tree, and I knew that if I didn't grab out for the branches, with the leaves all wildly being blown about, I was a dead man, so I reached out for them, felt leaves in my hand, then BANG, I woke up.

Lying there, eyes wide open, heart going like a machine gun, wondering wtf just happened, suddenly, off to my left, I heard this VERY high pitched noise, seemingly like a modem, downloading data, but at a much higher pitch. OK, this is fucking weird I thought. Maybe it's in my head, so I blocked both the ears with my fingers, and the noise went away. Took my fingers away, there it is again.

Then the noise stopped, so I thought it must have been in my head. Then it started again though, suddenly, and a bit louder this time. Again I did the finger thing, blocking one, then both of them, but no, definitely outside of my head, off to the left of my bed.

Fuck this, I thought, and slowly got up out of bed, to the right, and got out of that bedroom, without looking back , and went to sleep in the other room.

All in all, a very weird morning.
