It's true. Starting November 1, 2013 they will be lowered by roughly $56 per household.

It's a little confusing...So WIC and SNAP (formerly known as food stamps) are on an EBT (Bridge) card.

EBT benefits are being lowered, but only the WIC program is affected-SNAP holders are still getting the same amount.

Ok, in Illinois, snap, food stamps, and ebt are one and the same...

wic gives out vouchers and is a totally different department...

The issue I have with this is...

"They" (the government) knew this was coming, for months, if not years earlier... yet, they did not inform the millions of people who are on the SNAP program. For many, they will not KNOW about this until the day their food stamps come in November and they find there is not as much there as they normally expect and rely upon.

That's poor management of information. Had the millions known long before they would have time to adjust and prepare their budgets. Time and time again we see a "Us vs. Them" system, where the ruling elites continue to withhold INFORMATION from the majority public, information that would give them better control of their own lives and prevent them from living in darkness and confusion.

They have been building vaults and bunkers for years... prepping and don't allow the public to do the same.

No big deal - people will not starve or go out on food riots. The "cut" averages out to around $11 or less per person - per month. And yes - at least in my state - they gave notice last month that next month it would go down.
