Free Planet has always insisted that PROFIT is the great untalked about CONSPIRACY THEORY, and that remains the clarion cry.

PROFIT, in fact, is the essential reason this planet has been ruined to the extent that it has since tribalism used to 'take care of its own'. And by that, I don't mean warring tribes, because that was a rare occurrence in a plentiful resource scenario or 'good year's harvest' situation. Everybody was fed. Nobody had to rob or pillage. It's been known for THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF HUMAN EXISTENCE that sustenance is the driver of military action.

That drive for sustenance has been TRANSFERRED onto the need to acquire the competition's assets and destroy his ability to sustain. It's like eating and drinking and living normally, just with a weird (religiously fake) business filter of incessantly-predatory paranoia thrown into the life equation to ensure that God is always on the side of the Most Productive.
