Comet C/2012 X1 LINEAR is Now Brighter than ISON...! What kind of show are we in for?

Cbet No. 3674, issued on 2013 October 21, reports an outburst in brightness of comet C/2012 X1 (LINEAR). The magnitude of the comet was measured by H. Sato on on Oct. 20.5 to be total mag 8.5 (as measured within a circular aperture of diameter 85".2) with a brighter center about 10" across. The predicted H_10 magnitude for C/2012 X1 (LINEAR) would be around 14 now.

It may even be visible with Binoculars. It doesn't look like JPL has it as bright as these other sites but here's some more info on LINEAR

Any idea how close LINEAR is to Mars?

i'm wondering whether ison charged up Mars, which in turn unloaded on Linear. Plugin vulnerability on that site i'll sit n wait. It's all so very active up there
