Why would Lebanon settle for anything less than the equal to the S-300 type of systems? They are as free to buy from China and have then install it are they not.
Lebanon should be pushing the STL case as that was put on hold for more than a year as soon as Hezbollah won a election they were supposed to lose. With the old PM spending all his time in Saudi since then I would be pretty leery of wanting him to have any part in the Gov if I wanted to be free from international influences. What would the US do if Iran said the current reactors would be fueled by Russian rods and then they would take them back and Iran has decided to invest in tidal power generation and a combination of other methods that allow small villages to run independent systems so that power is not localized to just a few plants that would deprive many people if it went off-line for any reason. (also be a great time to offer wireless delivery of power, same shit the US could have been using for the last 100 years.
