Why would you not keep enough supplies for 6 monthes? Even if you just set down and look at the things you use and eat everyday?

Maybe for lack of planning, or laziness. Financially shopping every day ends up costing more. I do hope people with large families wake up to this 30 day rule. 6 Months is even better.
