The state still its medical cannabis law and now decriminalized possession... Perhaps full legalization is around the corner - but not yet... |

And less than a month later repealed the decision due to pressure from the USA... Can't remember the year.. Early 2000's I think. How the tables have turned .. Maybe America Jr. Aka the Northern State of Canadia will revisit that decision again soon |

In fact, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else during the summer Winters here though are an entirely different matter It starts to get dark at 3:30 in the afternoon and it's cold and desolate First year I moved here the temp during January was 45 degrees below zero not counting the wind chill |

Last year I began to entertain the idea of leaving. Shoveling sucks, and heating costs can bankrupt you. *shrugs* Getting old :). I've been here for 14 years (San Diego transplant)and I think the most it's gotten below zero in winter was like 12 degrees. I'm in southern Maine, JUST OUTSIDE Portland (the law doesn't cover my city, FRAMMIT). We have a saying, "Once it gets so cold, it's just cold." ie: you really don't notice after 2 degrees if it goes lower. :D |
