When they do a news story showing fatties taking pics/videos, it loses my interest. I need clear, close-up, night-vision if necessary, images. Three helicopters flying next to each other isn't worthy of being called a mass sighting or even a ufo. |

Alone, it's easy to debunk any of the sightings. But when you step back and look at the pattern - it's a lot more perplexing. Just don't know which ones are the legitimate ones... |

Quoting: BananaMeltdown it is hard to sort them out. I find it easiest to assume none of them are legit until one proves itself to be, but i know that isnt everyone's cup of tea. I do know that chinese lanterns are a fad right now, big for parties and weddings, so unless a vid that is posted on a weekend shows the lights behaving remarkably unlike a lantern, i discount it. too many weddings. From the rest, all i can do is watch it several times and see what i can learn. but in this instance there wasnt much vid, and only a few badly taken photographs, so at best it is inconclusive. but i still lean on the lantern theory on this one. unless someone comes out with another video of it. :malefav: I love this place!! |

Well but enough have been proven to be NOT be what folks have debunked, so that's the other part of the context. : ) Chines lanterns have always been a fad and I know what they look like. They do not look like what was recently seen in Austin ACL for example - AT ALL - but people have trying to debunk that triangle UFO sighting as Chinese lanterns pretty aggressively. It's very suspicious. I agree there isn't enough evidence for this one to know... but I'm looking at it all together. My job is half analytics and mystery solving to be honest - you never can solve a mystery if you look at things too compartmentalized. : ) |
