DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA (BNO NEWS) — North Carolina Central University (NCCU) on Thursday afternoon issued a lockdown for its facilities, warning that a “possible” active shooter was on campus, officials said. It was not immediately clear if shots had been fired.
