I don't know. I guess that info is all over the place. So far we have the green lady, and astro saying nothing will happen, then we have NASA saying nothing will happen. Then we have Russian scientists saying we will get slammed by meteor showers, and many other countries scientists saying it to including Mexico.

So we have to wonder who do we listen to?? NASA?? I have caught them in a few lies over the past 5 years. So many lies I can't count them all on both hands, so nope I wont listen to them. Astro?? well he originally said thanksgiving day that Ison was dead. However there was proof showing him wrong, and yet he is the one with the expensive telescope. Guess he was blinded by the light of the sun?? Then we have the lady in green backing up him and usually NASA. hmmm.

Then we have scientists all over the world that have been 100% correct so far. HMMM. Wonder which ones I will believe??

He is deceiving you. That is the Schematic view, not the Realistic view. The Earth does not cross the debris trail. Have you seen his website? He sells survival gear, so of course it's in his interest to lie and scare people.

I have an important question regarding ISON

How come this guy is the only guy I have heard making videos about the whereabouts of the comet.

According to Wiegert's computer models, the debris stream is populated with extremely tiny grains of dust, no more than a few microns wide, pushed toward Earth by the gentle radiation pressure of the sun. They will be hitting at a speed of 56 km/s or 125,000 mph. Because the particles are so small, Earth’s upper atmosphere will rapidly slow them to a stop.

Not saying he's right or wrong, that's for another post but to dismiss him because he sells merchandise that people may, MAY, soon need & many people want? So we, by that logic,should dismiss NASA because they sell merchandise(not to mention the ENORMOUS amount of lies wrapped up in just this one single event).

When ISON fragmented on its close approach to the Sun, the momentum changed.

Also, there is no way at this point to quantify accurately the size of the "dust" in the debris field. Yes, it might just be regular dust, or this "dust" might actually be comprised of many small yet dangerous fragments.

He said it was disintegrating months ago. They still have not officially determined if there is a nucleus. I aslo recall very clearly when he months ago claimed it would likely not reach perihelion. That was when he lost all credibility(lol) for me because I actually looked at some of the data and it seemed obvious that it would survive. Since then all I see is word games and Symantecs.

I remember older reports saying Earth will pass through the tail ij Jan 2014.... so to whoever says this is not true, can you please specify what has changed?

And also how about we start "debunking" info with other INFO instead of just saying "nah don't trust him or her, they have an agenda"....

can you link to where he said it wouldn't reach perihelion? And since it fragmented prior to perihelion, i would say even if he did say it he was not wrong.

i saw the same things,, that we would pass thru the tail twice. coming in and going out. thats all gone now and the new saying is ,, " its well above our ecliptic plane " .. i saw it too so your not imagining things !!

"Fragmented" is largely different than "not reaching perihelion". Images clearly show it rounding the sun so it obviously did reach perihelion, even if it was beginning to fragment. If Astro did in fact say it would not reach perihelion I would say he is closer to wrong than to right.

you can clearly see on the videos from stereo//soho pics that it DID disintegrate before perihelion, the dust ''rounded'' the sun, you need an eye check!!
