what would it take to change the course of your genetic 'fate'?

this is where it gets a little dicey and is really up the individual to find their own conclusion, but i will tell you my experience.

i went on a transformational journey that had specific guidelines set into place by multiple areas of thought, some of which at the time seemed 'outisde' myself.

i was to leave money behind, replacing books for currency.

i was to meditate on my own, never in a group.

i was to draw symbols when i was hungry, never worrying about where the meal was to come from.

i was to continue the journey regardless of risk.

and more rules than that, but it gives you the idea, and i did this for 7 years, knowing that i was rebuilding my own 'fate' to that which i considered mine. for several years i felt nothing, then i started to feel something, and now, ten years after it began, i can honestly say i feel like myself, and my rewards are constant to say the least. no need for drugs, my dreams are adventures that i control, i have happiness in most every waking moment, and even when i am angry, hurt, or anything negative there is no need to surpress it, i simply let it flow through me, and i am left unharmed after it is gone.

we have the power to change our fate, but it takes that seven years to build enough momentum that it can truly be considered 'ours'.

i hope this helps, it is a very personal journey, but it is worth every second, and you would be amazed how intelligently the universe itself will respond to you in this act.

That link alone on Masuro Emoto's work is extremely fascinating. Interestingly enough I had just posted on my FB 8 days ago a video on the effects of sound on water. So for that to be part of your explanation was a nice "coincidence" in and of itself.

I've recently stopped drinking and smoking weed due to a series of intense sleep paralysis episodes I endured within a short span of time. I've suffered them my entire life but finally had enough. Since then I have been on a quest to discover and improve myself. It has not been easy going, but I did not expect it to be. Meditation alone I find to be much harder to become better at than learning something like a martial art.

It seems I have a lot of work to do, but that is a good thing. I've already discovered that I may be what is known as an "empath" which would certainly answer a lot of my questions already. Still, I know that I've only scratched the surface and am certainly just beginning to build that momentum you speak of.

being an "empath" is even harder though, and the momentum you build will open yourself up to this more and more to the point where you will be surprised when others will be able to saty around you for long periods of time. its interesting how most of us are seriously obsessed with ourselves and yet we cant really look in the eyes of someone who actually sees us..

You'd be surprised at how "clear" things might NOT be. It largely depends on what bullshit in the world you have been subscribing to. I am talking about things that come (and have come) from people, both alive and dead, that think, or thought they were in some sort of "elevated" "position."

You see, when I was a toddler, I asked questions about things, the most basic things that you could do with two toddler hands, and a toddler brain, and was lied to by every single person around me. That sucked. And that continued to this very day until not too long ago... In their defense, vindication, or absolution, nobody knew the truth. And only a handful of people today probably do.

I have tried to explain some of this to people, but nobody wants to hear any bit of it. Not even the doctors (and I mean real PhD's & MDs) that I work with. The smartest people on the planet (or "think" that they are) often seem to be the most deluded, or lost, or uncaring. Much like a negative-feedback loop, or a flywheel spinning completely in the wrong direction. And they seem uncaring because they are so fucking smug in their mounds and heaps of total and utterly delusional, bullshit fantasies, (which is ..largely.. no fault of their own in most cases) that is is nigh impossible for them to ever have a clean slate, or "tabula rasa," not even for one fucking moment.

That, to me, is sad.

But it probably shouldn't be sad, and often it isn't. It is then when I can sit back and look (somewhat nihilistically) and laugh at the total and utterly pathetic (current) nature of humanity, and "reason." What a fucking "joke." And yet somehow, I do sometimes care. What a conundrum.
