This is truly a better policy than we have in the US. The muslim employees don't have to violate THEIR religious beliefs and the customers can purchase their products at the next register.

It's better than US institutions that believe that entire corporations are people with religions of their own and who wish to refuse service to entire segments of society based on THEIR religious beliefs without giving their customers the option of being served by another member of the staff instead.

It honestly seems to make a lot of sense for all involved.

Customers also always have the right to take THEIR business elsewhere.
