The US military said that 150 marines are ready to enter South Sudan, the world's newest state, to help evacuate Americans and protect the US embassy.

The troops have been positioned in the Djibouti, the site of the only US military base in Africa.

"By positioning these forces forward, we are able to more quickly respond to crisis in the region, if required," said a statement from the Africa Command.

LOL! Back in the 60's-80's it would only have taken 40 to get the job done. I am amazed that the new recruits don't study or perform half the stuff we did just a few years ago, it's like they are purposely weakening our forces. I guess when we started to allow gays is when the change happened, you should see all the straight guys trying to avoid the gays in the platoon.
