And when it does happen, chances are is it will be in full free fall when it starts in the Asian markets while we are asleep. You could wake up to a world where the dollar is scrap and no way to pay your bills. It won't be like the stagflation of the 70s since everything is computerized. It will be over with in a few hours for the most part.

This guy may be a good Wall Street advisor but he probably never has been out on his own and a bug out bag isn't going to do it. Best is to have the necessary supplies to stay put. Next if you have to leave a lot of boxes and water that you can load in your vehicle. Leaving with a bug out bag would be the very last possibility.

Without any question ! The first quarter of 2013 was to be the collapse. However, QE to infinity (trillions) staved off the inevitable. With taper, we will see hyper-inflation and currency retract; then, collapse.

My original gues was that the collapse would happen August 2012, then October 2012, after that latest June 2013 which after stopped to think about it. It will happen when it will happen. And I know that it will happen.

Good Point. I knew it would be bad. Just trying to figure out just how bad. If it all goes to hell in a hand basket, then we need to be prepared. i have prepped for a while. I have 3 bug out locations very far from the larger towns / cities.

I can scarcely tolerate life with 3 squares, a car, and electricity. Come to think of it, I'd probably like it better without these things...

However, if I have nothing to lose I can GUARANTEE you I don't need a gun. I will happily flip off the first moran who's happy to shoot me as he does so. What do I care? No young kids and NOTHING to lose here.

You never really know the level of cray in a person until they have nothing left to lose. People will find out that relatively mild looking people have a lot of caged beasts inside when finally TSHTF. Watch.
