Patriots in the USA are quite strong and some say a conspiracy to detonate a mini-nuke on USA soil to start a (nuclear) war with Iran (& North Korea), has been changed into a European terror attack.

This could be during the soccer games around Germany.

I have a hypotheses that the original plan of nuking USA still could be realised from Mexican soil; destroying a Mexican town and the nearby USA town as well?

Matamorros & Brownsville for example?
Earlier I noticed an accidental(?) symbolical resemblance between the South (San) Padre Island near Brownsville and the same name island of Houston near Galveston; the place said to be the primery objective for a mini-nuke.
Patriots don't seem to be very strong in Mexico, or more working for the government, than independently.
