Lego Movie filled with symbolism about our society.

Yes. And it sells this rebellion against "the man upstairs" by linking it to the current hopes for resistance against encroaching authoritarianism. The movie suggests accomplishing the rebellion by reverting to the "wise child" (a theme so common to movies over the past 20 years.) The parent is a fool and just needs to hear the message from the child. So, no actual overthrow-- just be more child-like and imaginative and realize how special you are.

The movie moved very quickly so it was hard to spot visual symbols, although I started looking as soon as I heard reference to "master builders". But I do remember there were a lot of scenes of moving in and out of buildings or into other worlds through eye-like or orifice-like portals, which seemed symbolic of advancing through levels. There was a symbolic baptism/rebirth after an apparent drowning-- which kind of reminded me of the rite where people pretend they are dead in the coffin then wake up. Also, in "cloud cuckoo land", there was a rainbow-colored "royal arch" familiar from masonic symbology (the arch flanked by the two phallic columns). Also, there were two scenes involving a 2001-like trip through a worm-hole type portal.


Then, there were two characters that seemed to have some weird programming: uni-kitty and good-cop/bad-cop. They both had dual personalities or a repressed personality. Since I was reading about Monarch programming recently, I interpreted it in those terms.

So did I.

It was very Orwellian at the beginning. It was a good movie, I'd recommend it.

My wife and I took the younger kids to this movie last night. I don't know how the masses can afford to do it these days. With 3D tickets and concession items, it was a $100 outing. Fucking crazy.

That said, it was good entertainment and jokes written into the story for both kids and adults.

In my book, anything with Will Ferrel is funny and this flick was no exception. One funny bastard and an interesting movie.

I found the quasi-fema zones interesting and the digs at consumerism spot-on.

All in all a good flick when you consider we're talking about bringing plastic pieces to life (wait, is that the message.. lol).

Ok i wanna start off by saying kids now a days have no rememberance of the past. Kid are born into today n totally endoctornated in this propaganda. Cartoons post 911 are filled with tons of illuminati symbolism n hidden messages in sub text. My theory is no parents are actually watching this shit. If u watch any cartoon it's the perfect cover . There's characters pretty colors funny things happen n noone is listening to the 3 sentences that mean anything because it's hidden in between 20 mins of bullshit. I started noticing this while on shrooms watching weird cartoons with my friend. We came across a cartoon called Ben 10 omniverse . We watched a particular episode called "for a few brains" it blew our mind. It little rally told us the secret to life n what is out there. I stress everyone watches that episode n tell me what u think . Anyway since then I been on the lookout watching cartoons like adventure time n regular show, space Ghost. When I watched the Lego movie I was appalled . The 3 sentences covered by 20 minutes of crap became so blaintant and just not hidden that I legit got mad. I watched it on shrooms as well to see it for what it truly is and all I saw was illuminati symbols everywhere. The movie shoes Liam neison as a cop who's forced to kill his family n join will Farrel in the illuminati. He sprays then with this substance that I think represents chem trails . If ur not familiar with chem trails look up 2 YouTube videos "what in the world are they spraying" & "why in the world are they spraying" it is medals such as aluminum n barium being put into the sky by planes n those medals trickle down to earth n get into our water our crops everything causing metal based diseases to increase tremendously. Alziemers, Autism, Asthma just to name a few have been on the rise for a long time now. Not to fall off topic but that's in the Lego movie. I also saw the cloud land burn n sink like it was the titanic. Which clearly was heaven burning . If u look closely u can see the all knowing eye in the middle of the scene as well as an eye floating in the water. It's down right unsettling. Which brings me to will Farrell . Honestly Wtf President business lord satin I mean c'mon . Will Farrell deff has something off about him. I feel this movie was trying to tell us that technology is consuming us as a culture. Noones original n they only look at the surface not what's within. Same with parents watching this movie . It looks like a normal cartoon but it's not. Don't get me wrong I loved the movie thought it was great but kids watching it at young ages like the movie suggest then it turns into a mass brainwashing tool. I saw this in the theaters n not one fucken person realized it with me. Everyone was laughing at the parts designed to trick everyone meanwhile I was fuming , thinking to myself the country is fucked. That movie wants u to watch it n realize that if ur smart enough to realize this bullshit then you are the "special" . The movie wants us all to see this to shed light on this matter n put an end to what our government/illuminati is not telling us. The movie gave me a feeling of hopelessness. It made me feel like the government is planning something hanis on society. The kragle was that . It was the chem trails creating the fake clouds in our sky which is killing everyone with cancers n respiratory diseases. Who is the government to Controle everyone's sky. Noone is talking about this but the plan is so genius that they are puting the truth in cartoons so if anyone one discovers it they look plain insane because anyone can say ur nuts it's only a cartoon. But if u pay attention all these clues are there. It's just a took for the illuminati to Controle the media sector of society. N kids born today are born into all this technology n have no idea what they are seeing because they no nothing else. This movie suggest we all slow down with technology n find that balance of technology and human connection so we all don't brcome the same . Almost robots if u say. The ending was mind blowing. There's a part as the climax is approaching where there's a structure that looks like a spine n a creature at the head pops off n flys away laughing . This was symbolism to show u the viewers head literally popping off because the fucken Lego movie is blowing ur mind. The ending was incredible suggesting one man is doing this to the country. N all he really needed was a compliment so he could feel good about himself and actually let people run with his ideas n try to improve them. Honestly I don't have all the answers and I'm not sure if the movies true message but I do know one thing . It was illuminati bullshit! I've never seen a movie just filled with not even subtle symbols of triangles diamonds pentagrams 6's ,eyes and the dialog wasnt even sneaky. It's showing u that that voice in ur head that is telling u the right thing whether it makes u cool or not is not wrong n that's what makes u interesting . Be yourself and I really feel we as a people need to pay attention to this n put an end. Start watching these cartoons that are pushed in commercials of the media. Every blockbuster movie in the last ten years has this symbolism and subliminal message in it. It definitely showed the orewellian dream we are currently experiencing. It also featured many ideas shown in Gnosticism. I'm sure some have been mentioned already but one that really jumped out at me was Emmet's trip through the portal.(rainbow bridge) He travels through the portal to see the man upstairs and finally sees the real world (enlightenment). This is an idea heavily influenced by Gnosticism and illuminism. Same as dorothy, and neo. Emmet the common man finds out the man upstairs is the bad guy and godhood was within him the whole time. Lucy,(lucifer) shows him the way. This is what all elites believe. You know its blatant when my mom even picks up on it.

I just saw this movie and it reminded me of a lot of concepts that I read from here.
I first thought of the Nobody story I've read bits and pieces about here. Also the concept that we have been lied to by the stories we've been told from religion, history, education, taking the power from us and placing it outside. Ultimately, Emmett was a here, but it was found all the 'steeple' in the movie were heros also.
Then the idea that all the Lego universes were really just the imagination of the father and son, and the idea of existing in different dimensions. I have not seen any kids movies I've actually enjoyed like this.

Don' eat this movie as a good thing! Look beyond the courtain! The "builders" (obiusly the masons) are the heroes and the Demiurg (you know! the gnostics say is the old testament God, but its our true God!) is portraied as a tirant! Dont eat this shit! God made rules and Jesus tells us not to be rebels! The movie tries to make this little guy a clear reference to the luciferian way of thinking! Remember that they will try to make God appear as a tirant for us to fight against him on the Armageddon day!

I'm so sick of this same plot over and over of the ordinary person suddenly noticing he's a hero with magical superpowers to save the world t the exact time it's needed. That's none of us. We are all becoming so self centered. Everyone's just waiting around their whole life for the time when their true power will be needed and revealed. Everyone thinks they are special. Everyone thinks they are the hero.

There is no hero.

Truly "waking up" is doing the exact opposite of what this movie suggests. You are not god. I am not god. Do actions with others in mind, not yourself. What positive contribution did you make to the lives of others today? What truly selfless acts did you perform? What IS the last selfless act you performed? Have you EVER performed a selfless act? Are you just waiting around for your superpowers to finally be revealed?

I think it was one of the best kid movies I've seen in a long time. I have a 5 year old and I won't take him to see most of the dribble being put out lately. This movie was hilarious though.

I just saw this tonight and I appreciate that I was not the only one who saw that this was filled with masonic reference, including a tessellated pavement hanging on the wall as Emmit is told he will become a master builder down to a secret knock to enter the meeting of master builders.
