Anonymous Coward User ID: 41591036 United States 02/13/2014 10:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I saw them in late fall. I think they are probably in south Florida and Louisiana. I give birds the leftover seeds from rabbit food. they love it. (rabbits in the wild rarely eat seeds, but speciality pet food companies put seeds in the food. bunny eats all but seeds so I give seeds to the birds. birds are delighted.) |

Quoting: the Q ? gmo? they will eat the sunflower seeds though birds can tell a lot more than we can. I tried feeding birds soy because of the protein content and they rejected it. yep update: today they are forcing it down because of the deep snow. there is apparently no alternative besides to starve to death Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. MostlySunshine User ID: 46299613 United States 02/13/2014 07:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in KY and I have seen a couple of them. Unfortunately I have a mockingbird chasing all the other birds away. I find it weird though that I haven't seen any of the birds I usually get in the winter like the juncos or wrens. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone...ain't no borderline psychotic emotional outbursts either. Some days you just have to create your own sunshine. |

I saw them often, but not right now or past few weeks. why would a cardinal try to fly into a window repeatedly, anyway? Fellow bird lovers, this cardinal did that repeatedly over several Sundays. Also, a downy woodpecker eats at the suet feeder I have up, too. Northeast Pa., here. Crazy cat lady in training... Quoting: the Q ? gmo? they will eat the sunflower seeds though I have the same problem, they love the sunflower seeds but that stuff mixed with corn they won't touch one bit, was wondering gmo That's very interesting. When I was younger I had a bunch of birdfeeders out for all sorts of birds and they ate all sorts of seeds. Now I wonder if they'll reject some of it bc the ingredients have surely changed since I was a kid.
